When I come home for Christmas (in less than a month!), I will bring some British treats to share. Mostly, I will bring chocolate biscuits and chocolate bars and maybe some tea. But the Brits have one product over here that I MUST bring home, because I don't think I can get through my vacation without it. At first, I thought it would be gross. Cut-up pickles in a brown sauce? But I do like relish quite a bit, so I thought I would try it. The England family are always eating cheese-and-pickle sandwiches, so I thought I would, too. I did not regret it. This delicious pickle product is crunchy and sweet and perfectly compliments a soft chewy-ness of a fresh baguette and the creamy and savoury taste of a strong cheddar cheese.
