On Friday night, I swung by to pick up one of my church friends (let's call her…Mara) for a lovely evening road-trip to Cefn Lea. It was dark by the time we left Birmingham and unfortunately, we caught the tail-end of the Friday rush hour. At first, we sang along to the radio, but when we reached Wales and couldn't properly tune in on anything, we repeated acapella Glee versions of 'Don't Stop Believing' and 'Gold Digger'.We arrived quite late, probably around 9pm and chatted to our fellow Momentumites before heading off to our bunks.
The next day, we were treated to a full English breakfast and our weekend officially began with a session of worship and teaching. After lunch, a large group of us climbed a massive hill! The view would have been pretty spectacular, but it was quite foggy on Saturday, so we saw a whole lot of white. We had fun bundling up in our silly toques and scarves, but I ended up stripping down to my t-shirt because I had worked up quite a sweat.
We had another teaching time in the evening with a very powerful time of worship. It was invigorating to sing together and praise God! It was a real celebration of who God is! We ended the evening with games… somehow I was rallied into playing a game of mafia.
Sunday's teaching was split up into a guy's session and a girl's session— which was great! Then, we had a delicious roast dinner. My drive back was so different! On Friday, I couldn't see any of the mountains that surrounded us, but our return trip let us see the beauty of the Welsh countryside. It was gorgeous! I didn't take any pictures, so I'll have to go back another time.
Well, that's it for today!

You certainly better go back another time. Another time in the summer.
